The success of the 3rd INTERNATIONAL PACKAGING and PRINTING WEEK, held between March 12 and 16, has reflected the segment´s recovery in Brazil. Indicators of this reality are seen through the negotiations done, the quantity and quality of the visiting public that was focused on getting to know technical details brought by the products launched, and on closing business deals, in addition to prospecting for new customers. With the participation of 21.940 visitors, the 3rd INTERNATIONAL PACKAGING and PRINTING WEEK brought together the main machines and equipment launches and the technical innovation of 180companies.
What our exhibitors have said about the event´s 2012 edition
Vivacor - Mario Guedes, cCommercial Manager. "We have participated in the event since its first edition, and we intend to participate in the next ones. This is a space to, aside from promoting our brand name and to raising business deals, we meet friends and customers one more time. This year´s event is quite interesting including a qualified public".
MLC - Rodrigo Narvaez, Commercial Manager. "The public at the fair is improving each day. Our main objective is to promote our company and to expand our network of contacts, for the purpose of prospecting for new customers".
Tesa Brasil - Fabrício Cardias, Sales manager. "We had the opportunity to present the Softprint Fast & Easy, a versatile tape, easy to use and that provides quick settings on shirts and cylinders. Aside from the display of this new product, this event allows us to make new contacts, new customers and partnerships".
HGR Extrusoras – Ricardo Rodrigues, Commercial Director. "We chose to launch our new extruder at the Packaging Week as it is one of the most traditional fairs of the sector. We were able to close some excellent deals, and we can affirm that the investment made in the fair has already returned and we certainly will participate in the next edition. The well-qualified public, and the holding of the three fairs, the visitor finds several solutions for his business".
Colorflex - José Vieira Alves, President. "The visitors to the fair are quite qualified. We have received people from the entire country's states, who are always interested in business deals for the sector".
Steel Knife - Emerson Thiago, Commercial Director. "We have participated several times in the Packaging Week, and this year we have concluded some solid deals".
Furnax – Roberto Leite Coutinho, Manager. "This year, we have prepared a new machine for the production of paper bags, following the sustainable trends and offering solutions for the substitution of plastic bags. We are receiving many visitors from the countryside of Sao Paulo State and from the capital region, all of whom are potential buyers".
Apolo - Michel Guttmann Serwaczak, Director President. “With the positive experiences at other editions of Brasilpack, we have identified a highly qualified and specialized public this year. Attentive to the needs to protect the planet, we have brought in a machine that produces cardboard bags".
Brasia - Christopher Mendes, Director. “This year the fair is quite positive and with diversified visitors. We have received at our stand many buyers interested in our products. We are quite pleased and we were able to close some good deals with current and with new customers. We will certainly return in 2014".
Macam - Luiz Antonio Reis, Director. “We have exhibited at the fair for several years and we know that it helps us do solid business. This year, we have sold nearly five machines and we intend to return in 2014".
Vacuum Machine - Rui Katsuno, Manager. “We are pleased with the event in 2012. It is good to notice that our stand is being visited by people from the area, who are interested in our products. We expect to grow nearly 30%, and in 2014 we will be back to display more new products".
FEVA - Odair Cardoso, Commercial Manager. “We have been exhibitors for several years, and we are happy to exhibit once again, for this fair is an excellent place to maintain our relationship with our customers and to make new contacts. We have noticed that the public is more qualified and interested in our products. We hope to grow nearly 30% this year and for sure we will be back in 2014 ".
Mecanográfica & Laser - Claudio Rosset Jr, Manager. “This is always a productive fair, as it provides us with qualified visitors, like directors and managers, as well as technicians, among others. For 2012, we have a goal to grow 20% to 25% in terms of gross revenues".
Roland - Anderson Clayton, Product Manager. “Since the 2010 edition, we have been present at the fair with the intention to promote our line of graphic products. We have noticed that the flow of visitors has increased in relation to the last edition, and that this public is diversified. With the release of the new line of products, we project a growth in 2012 between 5% and 10%".
Miruna - Vicente Giardi Jr, sales supervisor. “This year, the fair surpassed our expectations. As the event is more compact, the people can find us more easily. Our display stand was well visited with customers interested in our equipment. From this, we were able to sell seven machines and we are considering coming back next edition".
Reflexo - Ednaldo Carneiro, Business Partner. “For us, to exhibit at the fair means to continue the company promotion done over the year. We have received some good buyers at our stand and we have closed some deals and have others in progress. We intend to return in 2014".
Renove - Luiz Antônio Barban, Commercial Director. “We have participated in all editions of the fair, and every year we are able to close many deals. At this edition, we have had many customers and we are already pleased with the results that we will attain".
Big American - Vivian Rodrigues, Sales Manager. “We do some good business at the fair; we have had many local visitors, well focused on business deals. We have surpassed our expectations in sales, and we will continue to participate in future editions".
Flexo Tech - Romário Luiz Zonneveld, Commercial Manager. “This fair, which brings us excellent results, pleasantly surprised us, for it gave us new business and we were able to have more than one opportunity to promote our products. Our visitors, who have a buyer's profile, brought a strong technical conviction of what they were looking for".
Nicrom - Ademir Lopes – tTechnical Manager. “This is the first year that we have brought a machine to display, and we have already had a lot of demand for it. The fair's business was quite good, with well-qualified visitors".
Carton Access - Luiz Fernando Zagonel – Business Owner. “The amount of business we have had this year was much higher than expected. This visitation allowed us to close some deals, which assures us new business and new customers".
MLC - Gabriel Lopes Correa – Commercial Manager. “This year we have had a well-qualified visitation, with good business prospects. Aside from the companies that are already customers, we hosted several companies interested in getting to know our products".
AVT - Jonathan Geiger – regional Sales Manager. “We have equipment for printing inspection at 2 stands of the fair, one at the aligning machine from Mega Steel and the other at a label printer from Vemax. We have had good visitation to this point".
PlastMaq - Doriberto Canaveis, Commercial Director. “This is the first time that we have participated in the fair, and we are quite pleased with the visitation, with a large number of customers and a specialized public from the graphics industry. We are presenting the PlastMaq CS800, which produces plastic bags. We have closed five deals with several prospects for more business".
