Since 1983, the Tourist Information Offices (TIOs) have been an important resource for visitors of all nationalities as well as for city inhabitants.

Staff members are bilingual professionals, undergraduates and students of tourism from São Paulo who provide up-to-date and complete information on events that take place in the city, tourism attractions, infrastructure, services and access. Another important differential is the fact that staff members receive extra training.

At the TIOs, visitors can also find tourism, culture and shopping guides, as well as city maps and brochures on places of interest.

Besides providing information on the city’s range of options for tourism and leisure, the TIOs offer personalized service, recommending outings and activities to match the interests of each visitor to always meet his or her expectations.
